Artist Biography
Logan Moffat, an esteemed New Zealand artist and a graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts with BFA Honours in 2018. Logan won the New Zealand Adam Portraiture Award in 2018 for his painting titled "Elam."
Artist Statement
His artistic practice has evolved from creating detailed observations of direct subjects to capturing more introspective and abstract representations of human essence. His work encourages viewers to reflect deeply, merging elements of figure, environment, and structure to portray people that transcend physical existence. Currently, Logan is focused on expressing his authentic self through his art, exploring the layers of his past experiences while remaining present in his creative process.
