Amanda Billing is a multi-disciplinary creative working across the fields of performance, photography and the visual arts. She is driven by a need for artistic adventure and to master new skills. To that end, almost any art form will do as long as it puts her in unfamiliar, tricky territory. She's been acting in theatre and on screen since 2003, drawing and painting since 2010, and working with portrait photography since 2015. Her own photography is often source material for paintings, and her work across these fields always concerns individuality and the embodiment of spirit. Her next journey is taking her into the earthy dimension of clay.
